I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

Christians Rise Up

It is not enough just to say that one is a Christian. The Holy Bible tells us everything that we need to know. As people go through life they set aside time for exercise, cleaning the house, mowing the yard, and numerous other things that do need to be done. But we must also set aside some time to read the word of God and to continue to grow as Christians. Gods word is a living word. Through it God enables one to be able to hear Him and understand what it is to be a Christian. Gods love is shown throughout the Bible and it also shows us, as Christians, what is expected of us. Churches need to step up and take charge. Uniting as one in God and stepping into the world as it was meant to be. Christians have laid back for so many years allowing the " Federal Government" to be our scapegoat when it is Christians that need to be on the front lines. With God all things are possible,without Him we are set for destruction. Christians need to come together in this great country and lead this nation the way it needs to be lead. Voices need to be heard in the Whitehouse. Christian voices! Christians, with Gods help, can solve the problems afflicting this nation, homelessness, hunger, children in need, and the list goes on much longer than that. How long must this nation suffer from just the basic things of living. Join together and put aside denominations. There is only one God and we need to hear Him today!

Matthew 25:31-46
31: When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37: Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38: When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39: Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40: And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41: Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44: Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45: Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Love and Kindness

It is better we show love and kindness rather than coldness and malice. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Living with hatred and malice towards another is like a cancer that will do nothing but grow and destroy your life not anyone else. Don't allow that seed to grow, get rid of it and live the life God has intended for you.

John 8:1-19
1: Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
2: And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
3: And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4: They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5: Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6: This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7: So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8: And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9: And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10: When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11: She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
12: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
13: The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
14: Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
15: Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
16: And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
17: It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
18: I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
19: Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

Don't be Hating

Love your neighbors and your enemies. It is something, at times, hard to do. But this is what Jesus instructed us to do, praise His name. Even those that do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour have to go through troubles in this world. So show the love of God that is within you to those who need it the most.

Matthew 5:41-48
41: And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42: Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43: Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45: That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46: For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47: And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect

Blessed Are They

When Jesus was here on earth He gave us a lot by teaching those who would listen to Him. He also took a lot away when He died on that old cross. He bore upon himself the sins of the world. Even as He was dying He ask His Father to forgive them that were doing this to Him for they know not what they do. When He arose on the third day He gave us victory over dealth. Dealth has no hold on the believer nor does sin. Blessed be His name Jesus Christ, through Him is the only way to God. He is our Saviour.

Matthew 5:1-20
1: And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4: Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5: Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7: Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8: Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9: Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10: Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11: Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12: Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
13: Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15: Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
18: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19: Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20: For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Ephesians

Do not let greed take your inheritance away.

Ephesians 4:15-32
15: But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
17: This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18: Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20: But ye have not so learned Christ;
21: If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23: And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24: And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25: Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26: Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27: Neither give place to the devil.
28: Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29: Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30: And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31: Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you

Peace in your Life

Waking up in the mornings knowing Jesus is there to help you through the day ahead is a peace from within that is priceless. Forget about all of the worldly things around you for they are only here for a short time but having Jesus in your life is for eternity. Jesus is there for everyone. All you have to do is beleive and trust in Him. Through Him we are brought before God as one of His children.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 3:21-31
21: But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22: Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24: Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26: To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27: Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28: Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29: Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30: Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31: Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Whene'er I make some sudden stop--
For many such I make--
And cannot see the cloud cleared up
Nor know which path to take,

I to my Saviour speed my way,
To tell my dubious state;
Then listen what the Lord will say,
And hope to follow that.

Confirmed by one soft, secret word,
I seek no farther light;
But walk, depending on my Lord,
By faith, and not by sight.
Gadsby selection, 1838

Romans 9:1-33

9:1
I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

9:2
That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.

9:3
For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

9:4
Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

9:5
Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

9:6
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

9:7
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

9:8
That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

9:9
For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.

9:10
And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

9:11
(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

9:12
It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

9:13
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

9:14
What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

9:15
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

9:16
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

9:17
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

9:18
Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

9:19
Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

9:20
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

9:21
Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

9:22
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

9:23
And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

9:24
Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

9:25
As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

9:26
And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

9:27
Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

9:28
For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

9:29
And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

9:30
What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

9:31
But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

9:32
Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

9:33
As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Prayer Letter –April 18, 2006

JERUSALEM-ON-THE-LINE
Prayer Letter –April 18, 2006
JNN NEWS, P.O. Box 7411, Jerusalem 91073, Israel

"My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God; on behalf of a man he pleads with God as a man pleads for his friend.” Job 16: 20, 21
ATTACK ON TEL AVIV PART OF INTERNATIONALTERROR WAR ON ISRAEL: A suicide bomber killed at least nine people at the Old Central Bus Station in Tel Aviv on Monday afternoon. Over 60 were wounded, many seriously. The explosion occurred at a falafel stand during the middle of Passover week when the streets are packed with families, off from work and school. The attack occurred on the day the 17th Knesset was sworn in. The tragedy is not an isolated PA terror incident, but rather part of a larger-scale war against Israel organized by Iran. According to WorldNetDaily’s Jerusalem Bureau Chief Aaron Klein, Iran is bankrolling and providing additional support for operatives of multiple terror networks to carry out attacks on the Jewish State. He claims, “Iran is the paymaster for Hamas, as well as for Islamic Jihad and Al Aksa Martyr’s Brigades.” (Arutz-7/Israel Today)

IRAN PLEDGES 50 MILLION TO PALESTINIANS: Iran will give the Palestinian Authority $50 million and urged other Muslim countries to follow suit, Iran's top diplomat said Sunday. Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki made the announcement at the end of a three-day conference on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Tehran. The United States, European Union and Israel call Hamas a terrorist organization. They have cut direct funding to the Hamas-led government that assumed power March 30, although humanitarian aid can be donated through non-governmental organizations. (CNN)
IDF: TOO LATE TO STOP TEHRAN DIPLOMATICALLY: On Friday April 14th, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad fired a series of verbal shots at Israel, saying it was a "permanent threat" to the Middle East. "The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm," stated Ahmadinejad at the opening of a conference in support of the Palestinians. With projections that Iran could develop a nuclear bomb within the next two-and-a-half years, a high-ranking IDF officer from Military Intelligence said recently that the successful enrichment of uranium announced last week proved that diplomatic efforts to stop Tehran's race to the bomb had failed. (J. Post) “I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.” Exodus 23:27

“ELIMINATING ISRAEL IS ISLAM'S DUTY”: Al-Qaida's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahri said that the elimination of Israel is the duty of every believer in a video posted April 13th on the Internet. Al-Zawahri denounced U.S. President George Bush as the "Caesar of Washington" and accused him of lying about progress in the war on terror. "Bush, son of Bush, eliminating Israel is the duty of every believer," al-Zawahri said. "Beggarly clerics ... and every bankrupt propaganda machine is trying to convince the people to bring change by peaceful means, but the Islamic nation knows that its path is jihad (holy war) and the bearing of arms." (Haaretz) “For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. For the curses and lies they utter.” Psalm 59:12

EGYPTIAN EDITORIAL LAUDS SUICIDE BOMB: An Egyptian state-controlled newspaper praised Monday's suicide attack in Tel Aviv, which killed nine people and wounded dozens, calling it an act of sacrifice and martyrdom. Egypt has always taken pains to condemn the violence by both sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is exceptional for one of the country's three biggest newspapers, whose editor is effectively appointed by President Hosni Mubarak, to endorse a Palestinian attack on Israeli civilians. (Jerusalem Post) “Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high.” Job 16:19
EGYPTIANS ATTACK CHRISTIANS: Egyptian Moslems attacked three churches, killing at least one and injuring 15 others last weekend. Simultaneously, Egypt has released hundreds of former Moslem rebels the past few weeks, including the leader of a terrorist rebel group which killed 48 people in 1997. (Arutz-7) “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:10
MOSLEM TERROR CHASING OUT 1,000 CHRISTIAN ARABS A YEAR: About 1,000 Christian Arabs have recently fled Arab-dominated areas because of Islamic terrorism and harassment, according to Reuters News Agency. Examples were cited of Moslems beating up Christians, uprooting their olive trees and scrawling graffiti that show nuns being raped. Hardest hit has been the Christian community of Bethlehem where tourism has declined since the PA began the Oslo War against Israel. (Arutz-7)

PALESTINIANS FEAR AID CUT-OFF: A Palestinian policeman declared last week that if Hamas cannot provide for the Palestinians, it has no business staying in power. "We want to live, with or without Hamas....If it gets worse, then we can just say farewell (to Hamas)." A clerk with the Palestinian Interior Ministry in the city of Nablus, believes the Palestinian people will throw Hamas out of power if the situation deteriorates: "We will have a great mess without salaries...Hamas won't be able to stay in power more than three or four months like this." Until Hamas won parliament elections in January, the Palestinians used to receive nearly $1 billion in foreign aid. (AP/Washington Post) “The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous.” (Psalm 125:3)
HAMAS SEEKS TO TAKE OVER PLO: After having taken over the Palestinian Authority, Hamas now seeks to anchor its power in all the refugee camps throughout the Arab world. Hamas has defined the PLO as its next target for political takeover, demanding elections throughout what the Arabs call the "Palestinian diaspora." This would mean elections in refugee camps in Lebanon, Jordan and elsewhere, where Hamas feels it has very strong support. A victory in these elections would help Hamas attain positions currently held by PLO figures, such as the observer post in the United Nations, membership in international organizations and material assets. (Arutz-7)
IDF REPORTS INCREASE IN NUMBER OF WOULD-BE SUICIDE BOMBERS: Security forces have arrested 90 Palestinians suspected of planning to carry out suicide bombings in the first three months of this year, more than half the number of people arrested in all of 2005. The suspects, who security forces said were either on their way to carry out an attack or had expressed their willingness to do so, belong to Fatah, Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. (Haaretz) “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3)
IRELAND CENSUS FORM OMITS BOX FOR JEWS: Ireland's Jewish community is expressing dismay after learning that the country's upcoming census will not include a distinct category for Jews in the section concerning religious identity. The forms to be used in the census, to take place on April 23, include a question that asks, "What is your religion?" which is followed by seven boxes that respondents may check to indicate their reply. These include Roman Catholic, Methodist and Muslim, but not Jewish. Instead, those wishing to identify themselves as Jews will have to register as part of the "other" category. (J. Post) “If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill.” Psalm 137:5
JERUSALEM, TEL AVIV ASCEND IN QUALITY OF LIFE SURVEY: Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv were ranked 105 and 114, respectively, in a new quality of life survey conducted by Mercer Human Resource Consulting. Both cities climbed 13 places in comparison to last year, marking the highest rise in rating among the 215 cities surveyed. (Haretz) “May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us.” Psalm 90:17
ISRAEL'S LOW-CARB, LOW CALORIE POTATO: A "diet potato," designed to be low in carbohydrates, is being grown in southern Israel and is taking Europe by storm. The new Vivaldi potato contains up to 38% less carbohydrates and half the calories of ordinary potatoes. It is a particular hit in Britain, where it was originally developed and has been marketed as the "slimming potato" and the "dieter's dream." Israel 21c

Intelligent Design: Prove it wrong!

In schools around the nation for years they have taught evolution even though it is Not proven. If one would actually do some research on evolution and the time dating of fossils one thing that they would find out is that scientist use assumption in their calculation of time dating fossils. That is not fact. In fact scientist can only time date factually in the hundreds of years and not millions. So why can't intelligent design be taught? I wish some people of authority would be true to themselves and just do the fair and right thing for a change. It is getting so, so old hearing the lies and teaching it in public schools. Those of us that can not afford a private school and feel that home schooling should not have to be the only option we have should have a voice in this land of the FREE. But for some reason we can't get the very minimum of fairness that we deserve. A lot of us do not have the money to make the rules of the public and that is not how a free society should work but you know it is not even close to being balanced. We as Christians are persecuted all around the world. In some places Christians are being killed for there beliefs. By the way did you hear of the three Christian teenage girls being beheaded for their beliefs. This happened Nov 17th an article was written you can see it at http://www.persecution.org/newsite/
newsdetail.php?newscode=1659
. It was in Poso, Indonesia. We do not have that going on in the USA to my knowledge. But there are other ways of persecution that we Christians have had to endure for a lifetime here in the USA. It seems that if you are not a Christian people will turn over backwards to make sure you are treated fairly here. That is all I and any Christian wants, to be treated fairly. Is that to much to ask? I know it's not!

Genesis 1:1-31
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Hamas causing problems, prayer letter

JERUSALEM-ON-THE-LINE
Prayer Letter –April 4, 2006
JNN NEWS, P.O. Box 7411, Jerusalem 91073, Israel

"I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them." Amos 9:15

P.A. FOREIGN MINISTER SAYS, 'NO ROOM FOR ISRAEL ON THIS LAND': Palestinian Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar was quoted in a weekend interview to a Chinese news agency defending Hamas' declared goal of eventually destroying Israel. Zahar, a prominent Hamas leader told the Xinhua news agency that he is certain the goal will be realized, because "there is no place for Israel on this land." According to the interview, Zahar maintained that Palestinians have no problem with the Jewish religion, only with Israel, and said he does not rule out the possibility of Jews, Muslims and Christians living together in one Islamic state. (Haaretz) Barry’s Comment: The President of Iran and the Palestinian Foreign Minister have something in common: They are standing against God’s will and His word.

HAMAS: NO MORE ARRESTS OR SECURITY COOPERATION WITH ISRAEL: A Hamas Authority minister told the French AFP news agency that Hamas will no longer cooperate with Israel on security matters or arrest terrorists. Analysts say this is an open invitation for all terrorists. Sa'id Siyam, the Palestinian Authority's interior minister, essentially closed the door on one of the critical aspects of the Oslo Accords. Siyam said that Hamas would no longer exchange security information with Israel, nor make arrests based on Israeli intelligence. Even Al-Qaeda terrorists are now officially welcome into PA-controlled areas. (Arutz-7)

NO VIP STATUS FOR HAMAS AUTHORITY LEADERS: Israel no longer issues VIP free-travel cards to Palestinian Authority leaders who wish to travel between Gaza and Judea/Samaria. The new policy began upon the establishment of the Hamas government. Since 1993, the Palestinian Authority has applied for the travel permits for its legislature members and other senior figures. The VIP cards must be renewed every three months. This month, the first time the requests were made on behalf of a Hamas government, Israel did not approve, or even consider, any of the applications. The only Palestinian Authority leader to retain VIP status is PA Chairman Abu Mazen. (Arutz-7)

AID ORGANIZATIONS SAY GAZA IS ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSE: Israel will keep the Karni crossing closed this week, despite the warnings of U.N. aid organizations that the Gaza Strip is on the verge of a humanitarian disaster due to a lack of money and food. Israeli officials have said the decision not to open the crossing was due to focused warnings of a terror attack. (Haaretz)

QUARTET WARNS HAMAS OVER FUNDING: Mediators have told the new Hamas-led Palestinian government that it must recognize Israel if it wants to be guaranteed continued aid. The Quartet said in a statement Thursday that aid would "inevitably" be affected as long as Hamas failed to renounce violence. (BBC News) “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” Gen 12:3

BUSH: U.S. WON'T AID P.A. UNDER HAMAS: U.S. President George W. Bush said in response to the swearing-in of the Palestinian Authority's new Hamas government that he would not agree to aid a Hamas-led PA. "I weep for the Palestinians' suffering," Bush said in a speech. "They've been ruled for years by a disappointing government, but we can't fund a nation that seeks to destroy its neighbor.” Soon after Hamas formally took power, Canada also announced it was suspending aid to the Palestinian Authority. Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay said that Canada had no choice but to suspend assistance to the PA and decline contact with the new Hamas cabinet. (Jerusalem Post)

IRAN TESTS RADAR-AVOIDING MISSILE: Iran successfully test-fired a missile that can avoid radar and hit several targets simultaneously using multiple warheads, the military said last Friday. The Fajr-3, which means "Victory" in Farsi, can reach Israel and U.S. bases in the Middle East. The report is causing alarm in the United States and Israel. The announcement also is likely to stoke regional tensions and feed suspicion about Tehran's military intentions and nuclear ambitions. (Jerusalem Post) “If my people would but listen to me…how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes!” Psalm 81:13-14

IRAN SAID SET TO RESPOND TO U.S. STRIKE WITH GLOBAL TERROR: According to a Saturday Washington Post, report citing unnamed "intelligence experts," Iran would respond to U.S. military strikes against its nuclear sites with global attacks. It would attack U.S. targets in Iraq and there is "growing consensus that Iran's agents would target civilians in the U.S., Europe and elsewhere." (Reuters)

THREE CHEERS FOR AUSTRALIA: Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told last week to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. Prime Minister John Howard and his ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown. Treasurer Peter Costello hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state and its laws were made by parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you," he said on national television. (Liberty Post) “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn.” Proverbs 29:2

10% OF ISRAELIS CAN'T AFFORD A SEDER: The number of people who have requested food aid for Pessah is up 28 percent from last year, according to statistics published Monday by the charity organization Latet ahead of next week's holiday. Latet, together with more than 100 local charities throughout Israel, kicked off its annual Pessah food collection drive Tuesday to encourage the public to donate food packages to hundreds of needy families. The results of the survey found that one third of all Israelis will find it financially difficult to get through the Pessah holiday and 10% of the general population will not be able to hold a Seder meal at all. (Jerusalem Post)

ISRAEL'S OLD-AGE PENSIONS ARE LOWEST AMONG DEVELOPED NATIONS: A Bank of Israel report published on Sunday shows that Israeli old-age pensions rank 19th out of 23 countries surveyed. Only Norway, Australia, the Czech Republic and Ireland give more meager old-age pensions than Israel. Israel's child allowances came 22 out of 23, with only Spain ranking more austere than Israel. (Haaretz) “Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.” Psalms 82:3

ROAD TO TEMPLE MOUNT UNCOVERED: The main road that ran from Jerusalem's City of David to the Temple Mount during the time of the Second Temple has been uncovered by Israeli archeologists. The 2,000-year-old road was discovered adjacent to the Shiloah pool, said Israeli Antiquities Authority archeologist Eli Shukrun. It was used by the tens of thousands of people who came to Jerusalem for the Jewish pilgrimage holidays during the Second Temple Period, who immersed themselves in the Shiloah pool before entering the Temple Mount. Shurkrun said the road showed the centrality of both the Temple and the pool for life in the city at the time. (Jerusalem Post) “…Arise, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God.” Jeremiah 31:6

VISITING THE WESTERN WALL BY CABLE CAR: The Jerusalem Municipality and Transportation Ministry is considering a proposal to establish a cable car system that would transport worshipers straight to the Western Wall. The multi-million dollar plan is meant to allow visitors direct aerial access to the Western Wall by bypassing the often-congested traffic in the Old City of Jerusalem.” The proposal, still in its initial stages, is being studied for its economic feasibility and would only begin in another three years. Each cable car would accommodate up to 70 passengers. (Jerusalem Post)

The song of Zacharias

Zacharias was the father of John the Baptist. When John was born his parents knew the hand of the Lord was upon him. He was going to guide them with the tender mercy of God to know Jesus.

Luke 1:67-79
And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,

To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-22
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.

I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

HOW SWEET THE NAME OF JESUS SOUNDS

How sweet the name of Jesus sounds
In a believer's ear!
It soothes his sorrows, heals his wounds,
And drives away his fear.

It makes the wounded spirit whole,
And calms the troubled breast;
'Tis manna to the hungry soul,
And to the weary rest.

Dear name! the Rock on which I build,
My shield, and hiding-place,
My never-failing treasury, filled
With boundless stores of grace!

Jesus, my Shepherd, Husband, Friend,
My Prophet, Priest, and King;
My Lord, my Life, my Way, my End,
Accept the praise I bring.

Weak is the effort of my heart,
And cold my warmest thought;
But when I see Thee as Thou art
I'll praise Thee as I ought.

Till then I would Thy love proclaim
With every fleeting breath;
And may the music of Thy name
Refresh my soul in death!

Jesus prayed for the believers

Knowing His fate Jesus still took time to pray for the ones that God had given to Him. He that believeth on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. The believer is not of this world. The world hates the believer as it hated Jesus first. Jesus knows the things of this world that we must go through. His love towards us is greater than any love imaginable. Through any trouble or trial one must go through pray to Jesus and He will give you the strength that you need. He loves us and wants to keep us from the evil that is so very present in this world today. If you are sick, troubled, alone, mourning, or going through anything else in this world today take it to Jesus in prayer. He does here you.

John 17:1-26
These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
