I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

Avoiding Profane And Vain Babblings

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Is it right for one church to talk about another church? It would seem that this goes directly against the teaching of the Word. We are not to boast, backbite, or gossip. Should not the Word of God being taught, in its fullness, be sufficient. Gods' Word will show us the truth. There is no good to come from doing these things. God will take care of His churches, they that speak the truth. There is enough work to be done in ones own church without the worry of what another is doing. In ones own church Paul tells us here in Titus 3:9: "But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10: A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11: Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. "

Mathew 15:10-11
10: And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20
18: Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19: For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20: And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

2 corinthians 10:17-18
17: But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
18: For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

1 Timothy 6:19-21
19: Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20: O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

2 Timothy 2:3-4
3: Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4: No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

2 Timothy 2:23-26
23: But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
24: And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25: In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26: And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Hebrews 12:12-14
12: Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13: And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14: Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

2 Peter 2:23-26
23: But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
24: And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25: In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26: And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Psalms Chapter 2

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Psalms Capter 2
1: Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2: The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3: Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4: He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5: Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6: Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7: I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9: Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10: Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11: Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12: Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him

To Him Be Glory And Dominion

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Is there confusion, doubts, anxiety, or worries that are taking control of your life? This is the work of the devil. The devil will do what ever it takes to get your thoughts and you away from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Being strong in our faith in Christ, Jesus tells us that He will not put anything on us that we will not be able to bear with His help. He tells us that He will never ever forsake us. If we are tempted by evil God will give us a way out of that situation. He will not leave us with no way out. As we get closer to God so will the devil try even harder to pull us away. We must stay strong in our faith of Jesus Christ. He is our only way to God. Some may be in the middle of a situation that is truly dire in there mind. But do not think that is all we have left. We need to look to the heavens and in God's time we will be brought out of any situation that one may be in. There is more to life with Jesus Christ. It is eternal life in Heaven with our one true God. Our time here on earth is just a blink of an eye compared to what is in our future as believers in Jesus Christ. We have hope given to us by the grace of God. Without it what would one have to look forward to? Nothing but death. That is a sad shape to be in. God loves us and wants us to love Him. God is not of confusion, doubts, anxiety, or worries. Jesus Christ is the way out of those things. Let us pray to God today in Jesus' name and ask Him to get rid of those things that are not of Him, to keep us from the evil that is around us every day and to quicken our faith in Him in Jesus name we ask these things. Amen

1Peter 5:1-11
1: The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3: Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4: And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
5: Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6: Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11: To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

A Man Of The Pharisees

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Nicodemus was a man of the Pharisees, a ruler of the Jews. Nicodemus came to Jesus by night on their first encounter in the scriptures. It was then, speaking to Nicodemus, when Jesus told him that a man must be born again. It was also there where Jesus spoke John 3:16, see below. The next time that Nicodemus was in Jesus' presence Jesus was in a temple in Galilee teaching. There were many in disbelief and wanted to kill Jesus. There was only one that spoke out that did not want Jesus killed. John 7: 48: "Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? 49: But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed. 50: Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) 51: Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? 52: They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. 53: And every man went unto his own house." There was a prophet that came out of Galilee, Jonah. Nicodemus was telling the Pharisees that even the law they had of Moses they did not keep. After Jesus had died on the cross Nicodemus helped Joseph prepare Jesus' body and place it in the tomb. John 19:38:"And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. 39: And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. 40: Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. 41: Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. 42: There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand. Nicodemus looks to have taken the teachings of Jesus and believed on Him.

John 3:1-21
1: There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4: Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6: That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7: Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8: The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9: Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10: Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12: If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13: And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19: And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20: For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21: But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

CNN.com - Medievalbook of psalms unearthed - Jul 25, 2006

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
They are saying that this is truly a miraculous find of Psalms 83. I would have to agree. It seems like there is a lot going on in our generation. I can't wait to see what is next.

CNN.com - Medievalbook of psalms unearthed - Jul 25, 2006

Psalms 83
1: Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2: For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3: They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4: They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5: For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
6: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7: Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8: Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
9: Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10: Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
11: Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: 12: Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13: O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14: As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15: So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16: Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
17: Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18: That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Put Faith In Prayer

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Have faith in God. Our faith in God will surpass any trouble that we may have here on earth. Only our one true God has the power over all things in Heaven and on earth. Having faith in prayer can be a very powerful thing. We sometimes get into a routine of praying but truly not putting all our faith in it. Remember that God does here our prayers and it through our faith in that prayer that the prayer becomes more than just words we say. There has been many prayers answered and some that seem to have not been. But remember that just because that specific thing that we may have asked of God is not manifested in front of our eyes or that we do not understand the outcome He does what is His will for the good of His people whatever that may be. So do not grow weak in faith but become even stronger in our faith in God. God hears us. Always praying in Jesus' name.

Mark 11:23-26
23: For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24: Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25: And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26: But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Help Wanted

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Help is wanted. Jesus said "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few". Jesus is in the need of labourers today. Are you ready for a great and glorious adventure. If so, call upon the Lord and let Him know that you are ready to do what is needed of you. No previous experience needed. No degree asked for. No citizenship required. All He wants is you. And your willingness to follow Him. Excellent benefits, eternal life for starters, peace of mind, job security, a boss who is truly a friend when you are in need. Don't be misled by other ads promising you everything and more. There is no other that will give you eternal life. They may lie to you and tell you so but don't put your life in their hands. There is only one way to eternal life and that is Jesus Christ. There is no limit to what you can do with Jesus Christ. He wants you today.
There is no expiration date on this posting.

Matthew 9:32-38
32: As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
33: And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
34: But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
35: And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36: But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37: Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38: Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Psalms Chapter One

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Psalms 1
1: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2: But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4: The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5: Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6: For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Man Dead In Casket Starts To Speak

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
A widows only son had died and was being carried in a open casket through the city with a great number of people from her city accompining her. The Lord come upon the widow and saw her and had compassion for her. He went and touched the casket and said young man arise and he did and began to speak. He was then given back to his mother.

Luke 7:11-15
11: And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
12: Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
13: And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
14: And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
15: And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

Divorce Is Allowed By God

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We always hear how the wives are commanded to submit to their husbands but it is also written in Ephesians 5:25:" Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; ". As believing husbands we should love our wives and not abuse them. Whether it be physical or emotional. Some wives may stay in torment over their marriage to a husband that is truly not a believer. It is easier to talk the talk than to walk the walk. There should not be a constant turmoil in the household for God has called us to peace. And to this God has given the believer a way out of a marriage that is full of torment but not to be used for adultery. Be careful of this. But whether it be a man or a woman we are not under bondage with a marriage with a unbeliever. I do not advocate divorce but I do advocate the treatment of wives to be subject to the teachings of the Bible. And that is just what Ephesians 5:25 states. Love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church. Many, many churches will tell a wife that under no circumstances are they to divorce their husband unless it is for adultery on the husbands part. But does a man or woman going to church prove that they are believers. Of course not. So how can pastors, with a clear conscience, tell someone straight out that it would be a sin to divorce their partner. I think that this should be left up to a higher power than the pastor for he does not know the heart of anyone. Only God does. This is concerning whether they are a true believer or not. Being saved by the grace of God is not done by what we do, going to church, or being baptised but by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, beleiving in Him. He is the only way to God, period. If a woman is being abused physically or emotionally then how could the husband be a true believer? Whether he goes to church or not is totally irrelevant in this case. So to the wives, you are not under bondage, as God sees it, if you are being abused. Do not continue to live in that situation. God loves you and wants only the best for you. Praise His dear name.

1 Corinthians 7:12-17
12: But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
13: And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
14: For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
15: But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
16: For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
17: But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

The Commonwealth Of Israel

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
It is not by who we are or what we do but by the grace of God are we able to partake in the promise once held only for the Jewish people many years ago. Before Jesus Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. Jesus Christ tore down the wall of separation between us. Through the blood of Jesus Christ are we able to be drawn closer to God. Through Jesus Christ we both have access to God through one Spirit. There are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God. A group of believers built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.

Ephesians 2:1-22
1: And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2: Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4: But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5: Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6: And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
11: Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12: That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14: For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15: Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16: And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18: For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19: Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20: And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21: In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Boy Fell From Third Story Window

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The title could be from any newspaper headline today. But I dare say the outcome may have been different. This is talking of when Paul was preaching late into the evening on a Sunday when the disciples came together to break bread. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus. He had fallen into a deep sleep while setting on a window ledge. He fell three stories and was killed. Paul ran down to the young boy and took him in his arms and said "Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him." The boy was brought back to life.
Miracles still happen but we may not see the miracle as they did back then. We may have to take the time to look at the circumstances surrounding the event to actually see just how miraculous it was.

Acts 20:7-12
7: And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
8: And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
9: And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
10: And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
11: When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
12: And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

God And Israel

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
God hath given Israel the spirit of slumber until the last Gentile[ non-Jew] has been saved. God has concluded them all as non-belief so He may have mercy on all of them. God has given salvation to the Gentiles to provoke jealousy from Israel. Paul said "I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin". Israel is Gods' people and we dare not boast of our salvation lest we fall away from God. Paul also says " For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? " Let us all pray for Israel for they are His people.

Romans 11:1-36
1: I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2: God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
3: Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4: But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5: Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6: And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
7: What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
8: (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
9: And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompence unto them:
10: Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always.
11: I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
12: Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?
13: For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14: If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
15: For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16: For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17: And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18: Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19: Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20: Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22: Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23: And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24: For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25: For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.
26: And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28: As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
29: For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30: For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31: Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32: For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33: O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34: For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller?
35: Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36: For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Looking Unto Jesus

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 12:1-3
1: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3: For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Jesus Cried And Said

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ came into this world to save it, not to judge it. His Father will do that in the time of judgement. Jesus came into this world to be a light for all to see. By through Him we may have eternal life. Jesus Christ is the only way to God Himself. Jesus said in John 14:1:" Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." Gods' love for us is great. He sent His only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins so that we may have a way to Him and to be victorious over death receiving eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Let us rejoice and give God praise for all that He has and continues to do for us, in Jesus' name.

John 12:44-50
44: Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
45: And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
46: I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
47: And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48: He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49: For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50: And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Good Or Evil Fruit

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Many come in the name of Jesus Christ and it is easy to be fooled by them. Let us pray for the knowledge and ability to discern the difference so that we are not drawn into their web of lies and deceit. There are many that have brought forth evil fruit that we have been able to see. And it will continue until our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ comes again. I ask for your prayers also for me and my family. For I am just a lowly sinner undeserving of God's grace which He so bountifully bestows on me. Praise His dear name.

Matthew 7:15-23
15: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16: Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17: Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18: A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19: Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23: And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Romans Chapter Two

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Romans 2:1-30
1: Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2: But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3: And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4: Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5: But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6: Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9: Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10: But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11: For there is no respect of persons with God.
12: For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13: (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14: For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
16: In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
17: Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
18: And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
19: And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
20: An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21: Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22: Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23: Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
24: For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
25: For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26: Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
27: And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfill the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
28: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Women In The Church

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The writings of Paul to Timothy have many instructions in them to help Timothy in his pastoral role at the church in Ephesus. One such instruction is concerning women and their role in the church or rather not their role. We may hear this scripture taught by some in full but others may stop at verse 8. We, as believers, must keep the whole Word of God. Even if it is not politically correct.

1 Timothy 2:1-15
1: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2: For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4: Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6: Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7: Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
8: I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
9: In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10: But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
11: Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12: But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13: For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14: And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15: Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

All Scripture Given By Inspiration Of God

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Paul was in prison under the Emperor Nero, in a cold dungeon. From here he writes to Timothy, in 2 Timothy, with concerns because he knew that his life was almost over and that his work here on earth was done. One thing that he writes is that the scriptures are of the inspiration of God. He does not just write scriptures in his letter but he writes All scripture is given by the inspiration of God. This is so important for us to understand that it is The Holy Bible in its entirety that is the living word of God. Not just parts of it. And it is written in 2 Peter 1:20: "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21: For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." Here is even more reason not to privately interpret the Word of God To better fit our need as men. If anyone teaches anything but the entire Word of God then they are of false teachings and an abomination unto themselves that will surely fall to destruction when it is Gods' will.

2 Timothy 3:1-17
1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4: Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6: For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8: Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9: But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10: But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11: Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12: Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13: But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14: But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15: And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

By The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
It is by the resurrection of Jesus Christ which saves us. Not anything else. Baptism is not what saves a man but the answer of a good conscience toward God. If we look at 1 Peter 3:21 and just see "even baptism doth also now save us", then we are not reading the text in its entirety as it was meant to be read. John did baptise with water but he also preached the baptism of repentance. Mark 1:4"John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins." This is also found in other scripture as well. It is human nature to see and hear what we want to see and hear. But with reference to The Holy Bible it is not our choosing of what part of what scripture we want or think we need for our own purpose. It is the whole Bible in its fullness that we are to use. If anything else it is of the devil and is used for false teaching period.

1 Peter 3:12-22
12: For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
13: And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14: But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
17: For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
18: For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20: Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21: The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

There Is Only One High Priest

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Since Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins we need no one else between us and God except for Jesus Christ. He is our one true mediator. There is no need for carnal priests and sacrifices any longer because Jesus Christ has paid it all and all to Him we owe. Christ is our one High Priest.

Hebrews 7:11-28
11: If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12: For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
13: For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
14: For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
15: And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16: Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17: For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
18: For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19: For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
20: And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
21: (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
22: By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
23: And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
24: But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25: Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26: For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27: Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28: For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

Hebrews 8:1-13
1: Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2: A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3: For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
4: For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
5: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
6: But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7: For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8: For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12: For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13: In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 10:7-30
7: Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8: Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9: Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10: By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11: And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13: From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14: For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15: Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16: This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17: And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18: Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19: Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20: By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21: And having an high priest over the house of God;
22: Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26: For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27: But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28: He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30: For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

As A Little Child

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Jesus tells us that we must receive the Kingdom of God as a little child or not be allowed in at all. This really tells us how we must look at our salvation. It is not what we do, as in good works. It is totally dependent on our Saviour Jesus Christ and our faith and trust in Him will we see the Kingdom of God. We must see it as a gift from our Heavenly Father. We must be as children with those wide eyes open not knowing what is coming . Just knowing that it is good and safe and pure. Not looking at it as though we deserve it or that it is something that we have done. The gift of eternal life is given to each of us freely without merit when we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is so simple and easy to do. Just trust in Him with all your heart and strength and soul. Then live a life of contentment knowing we are safe and secure in our Fathers arms. He will never forsake us or let us go. We have to look outside of these fleshly bodies and look towards the heavens. It will be a glorious time when we see Jesus. Oh praise His dear name.

Mark 10:13-16
13: And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14: But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15: Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
16: And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

A Good And Holy Life

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 2:2: For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
In 1 Timothy Paul is writing to Timothy concerning pastoral duties and such. And we find in the scripture Paul telling Timothy to fight the good fight of faith and to hold on to eternal life. We also see it telling him that gain is not godliness. And for Timothy to withdraw himself from such. For he should live a life of contentment with having food and clothing.
How many pastors, bishops, deacons or any of authority in the church do you think is going to be satisfied with that. I am not judging, Only God will do that. But how many have the mind set that I deserve this or more than this? This is not only in the churches themselves but those committees that are over a certain group of churches. This is to be a guide for anyone in authority over Gods people. How much money do you think is stored up today in the world that could help so many in need today? I am just trying to make the point of false teaching going on around us today. All that any of us should want is the truth. If it is not in the Bible then you can be assured that it is false. Do not get drawn into the argument of, well the times have changed, I tell you that God has not changed nor will He. And His word is the living Word of God. Live a good and holy life holding on to eternal life. Don't get so caught up in worldly things for we are not of this world. The Bible states John17: 15I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Romans 12:1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
1 Corinthians 2:12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1 John 2:15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 Timothy6:1-21
1: Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
2: And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3: If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4: He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5: Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6: But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7: For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8: And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9: But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11: But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13: I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14: That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16: Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
17: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
18: That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
Amen.

War A Good Warfare

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Even back in the days of Paul the apostle there was a war going to keep Gods word pure and to not stray from it.
Paul is telling Timothy to keep his faith and to stand by it not letting anyone come in and change any of there beliefs. 1 Timothy 18: "This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; 19: Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 20: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme."

And in Romans 12: "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."
We are not to repay evil with evil. But a war continues today that was present when Paul was alive on this earth. We must know this and continue on spreading the truth of Gods word all throughout. There are Christians everywhere being persecuted each and everyday in the world. They are being imprisoned, tortured, and killed for trying to teach Gods Word. And there are some in war saying it is in Gods name that they are killing everyday. This is talked about in the Bible that there will be some come in the name of God but they will not be of God. John 16: 1"These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me."

And in 2 Timothy 4:"2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

So as it has been it still is a war to keep Gods Word pure. Many, many congregations and religions are being taught to be Gods Word. But they are false teachings. The Holy Bible from Genesis1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is the living Word of God. Do not be lead away from it by anyone. And if you are involved in a religion that does not teach all of Gods Word then I would pray that you look at where you are today. Just because someone in your family went to a certain church does not always make it right. That church is commanded by God to teach all of His Word or all that the church does is in vain deceit. This is also in the Bible. There are young people, and old alike, today that are confused and do not know where to go. We need to reach out to those and teach them the truth of Gods Word.

Romans 12:1-21
1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3: For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4: For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6: Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7: Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8: Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9: Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10: Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11: Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12: Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13: Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14: Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15: Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16: Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17: Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18: If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19: Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20: Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21: Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Not Knowing Will Not Get Us In Heaven

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
In the previous post it is stated that it is better to have not known than to have known at all. This is in reference to one that has been saved and returns to his original way of life. The Holy Bible tells us that his spirit is "swept clean" but that when he returns to his old ways, or simply does not have God as a part of his life, there will come seven other spirits more wicked than himself. So in this manner if his spirit had been swept clean but yet it was empty, not having the Spirit of God present. His spirit is left wide open for evil spirits to come in and dwell within him. That is why it is better not to have known. Not knowing is not an excuse that God will accept. Proverbs 28:9: "He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination."
So knowing the true Word of God is what we need. Here is an example of not hearing the true Word of God. Luke 11:27:" And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. 28: But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it."
After reading, hearing, and knowing this how can Mary be
worshipped and prayed to?
We must get to the true Word of God.
Read it, hear it, believe it, Live it!

Luke 11:1-54
1: And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2: And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3: Give us day by day our daily bread.
4: And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
5: And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;
6: For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?
7: And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.
8: I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
9: And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11: If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12: Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13: If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
14: And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.
15: But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.
16: And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
17: But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
18: If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
19: And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
20: But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
21: When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
22: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
23: He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
24: When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25: And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
26: Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
27: And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
28: But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
29: And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
30: For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
31: The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
32: The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
33: No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
34: The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
35: Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
36: If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
37: And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.
38: And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.
39: And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.
40: Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?
41: But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.
42: But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
43: Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
44: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
45: Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
46: And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
47: Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
48: Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.
49: Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
50: That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51: From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
52: Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
53: And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
54: Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse

Better Not To Have Known

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
If we, knowing the truth, turn from it. We would have been better off not knowing the truth at all. For they shall receive the reward of unrighteousness that turn from the truth and speak evil of it. "Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities." There are many false teachers out here today that would like nothing more than for us to turn from the true, living Word of God and go down the path of destruction that is awaiting all of us that turn from the truth. Test the spirit as it says to do in 1 John 4: "1: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

2 Peter 2:1-22
1: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2: And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3: And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
4: For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5: And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6: And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7: And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9: The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11: Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
12: But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
13: And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14: Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15: Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16: But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
17: These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
18: For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19: While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20: For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21: For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22: But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

In The Beginning

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
For those who wonder how it all began.
Genesis 1:1-31
1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4: And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5: And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6: And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7: And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8: And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9: And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10: And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11: And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12: And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13: And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14: And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16: And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17: And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18: And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19: And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20: And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21: And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22: And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23: And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24: And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25: And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29: And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30: And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Psalm 86

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Pslam 86:1-17
1: Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
2: Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
3: Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
4: Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5: For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
6: Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
7: In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
8: Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.
9: All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
10: For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.
11: Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
12: I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
13: For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
14: O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.
15: But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
16: O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
17: Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me

One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism,

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:14: "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;". The Holy Bible also tells us to test the spirits in 1 John 4:1: "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world".
There are some waiting for the antichrist to appear but if the antichrist was already in this world when this was written almost 2000 years ago, how much stronger it must be now. It, most likely, is deceiving millions of people in many different ways. There is so much being taught today that it can be so overwhelming to the non-believer, yet it is so simple and ready available to those who want the truth. It is The Holy Bible that teaches us the truth. There are those that say they teach what is in the Bible and those that just take parts of the Bible to use it for their own purpose. It is no wonder the world is in the state it is in today. There is only one God and only one way to Him. That is through our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4:1-32
1: I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2: With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3: Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4: There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5: One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6: One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7: But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8: Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9: (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10: He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12: For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
14: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15: But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
17: This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18: Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20: But ye have not so learned Christ;
21: If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23: And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24: And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25: Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26: Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27: Neither give place to the devil.
28: Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29: Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30: And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31: Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
