I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

Praise The Lord For Another Day

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Let us praise the Lord that he has given us another day to spread His good word. May the Lord unharden the hearts of the ones that He would have hear the word and come to Him today. For the work at hand is great but the laborers are few. There does not seem to be many spreading His good word like there was years ago. It seems that church is the only place that some choose to speak of our Lord and Saviour. Just going through life trying to be a good person is not enough. Jesus tells us all to go out and teach of Him. To go out was not meant to go out to church. Church is an important part of a Christians life but there is more to it. I have a friend that is at this very moment in a sanitarium going through a thirty day evaluation period. This was brought on by him preaching in public. Someone took it upon themselves to put him there. This happened in Campbellsville, Ky. He had an article written about him in a neighboring county, not long ago, telling of the work he was doing for the Lord. The evil in this world is great. Even churches praise his work until he steps on someone's toes. I spoke with him by phone last night and even in that place he is praising God and knows that he was sent there to witness to someone. He is a true brother in Christ and I thank the Lord for him. A good example of what is important to Jesus is in the scripture below.

Luke 10:38-42
38: Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39: And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
40: But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41: And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Be Comforted By This

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We have all had loved ones pass away. It is a time of mourning for us all. But if Christ is in us and also was in them, as being saved, we will see each other again when Christ returns. It tells us in the Bible that the dead will rise first then those alive, that are of Christ, will gather together in the clouds. What a joyous time that will be. There is nothing harder to endure than a loved ones passing. But be comforted in knowing that we will see them again. Praise God in all His power. There are a lot of things that we yet cannot understand because we are in these earthly vessels. Those things of Heaven we do not understand how these things are possible but through Jesus Christ all things are possible. This is where our faith in God comes in. We live in that faith and it gives us comfort to know such things. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13: But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Jesus Has Prepared A Place

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
It is never to late to trust in Jesus Christ. Do not be tormented about the time you may or may not have left on this earth. You can have great joy and a peace from within that will let you look forward to seeing our Lord and Saviour. That is not to say that anyone would want to pass away from here only that it is a fact of life that we all will unless Jesus returns to earth first. Come to Jesus and have no worries about the future. Gods grace will be sufficient to get us through all times in our lives. Live the rest of your life for the glory of God. For all we do we do for the glory of God. There is not one of us that is perfect but God will work on us each day to get us closer to Him. Do not wait any longer to have Jesus in your life. Trust in Him with all your heart and He will save you. God loves all of us. Let Him show you His love for you.

John 14:1-21
1: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2: In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4: And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5: Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7: If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8: Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10: Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11: Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13: And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19: Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20: At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21: He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Unbelief Has Always Been Here

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Even when Jesus was here on this earth and the people saw with their own eyes the miracles and wondrous things that He did there were still those that did not believe He was the Son of God. So how hard it is for some today to believe in Him. Even if those today, that live in unbelief, where to have lived and seen the same miracles and wondrous things that Jesus did on earth that those did see, they still would not believe unless the Lord our Saviour allowed them to. He has hardened their hearts and blinded their eyes. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Until one truly believes in Him so shall they perish. Let not your heart be troubled for in His house are many mansions and He will come back for us one day. Praise His dear name. Yet though he were dead so shall he live In Jesus Christ.

John 12:37-50
37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.
42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Be Aware Of False Teachings

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The Holy bible tells us that there will be false teachers among us, and there are. The true and only living Word of God is The Holy Bible, from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. Do not let others tell you different. In it you will find nothing but truth and it is the truth that will set you free. There are millions among us who teach false doctrine to there people. And some of these teachers are in our churches today. Some will pick and choose what they teach on. Others will leave out entire books of the Bible. And there are those that do not believe in the Bible at all. I do not want a religion, religion is of this world. I want salvation, which is not of this world. The true love of God is found throughout the Bible. Do not let others judge you for what you do if it is for the glory of God. This is the mark to reach."And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the father by him".Colossians 3:17

Colossians 2:8-23
8: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9: For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
10: And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13: And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14: Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15: And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16: Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
18: Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19: And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
20: Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21: (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22: Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
23: Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

The White Church

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
It was many years ago that I set here remembering back when I attended an old country church with my dad each Sunday. It had one room and a outhouse around the back. It was equipped with a bell that I would love to here, and sometimes would be allowed to pull the rope attached to it to make it sound off. I look back at those days with great warmth inside. I was so young and did not understand what I do today about the reason that my dad would take us to that church. Those are days that I cherish. My dad has since passed on from this life on earth. He did not get to see my return to Christ. Somewhere in between those earlier days of going to church and becoming a young man I had taken the wrong path that was leading me to destruction. But by the grace of God He accepted me back, as a dad would do, with open arms embracing me and telling me He loved me. Oh what a fool I was when I turned from my Saviour and tried to go it alone. I can do nothing by myself but with Christ I can do anything. I can't go back to those times that I remember and reflect upon so often but I did go back to Jesus. He is still there, my Rock, my Saviour, will always be there for me and for you also. I was out there in the wilderness for twenty five years or more. It is never to late to receive Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The only time that it will be to late is when you die or Jesus returns and you have not accepted Him. Then it is to late. The gate will be closed to those who have not accepted Him. Will you accept Him today as your personal Saviour. It is the greatest thing that you will ever do. That one room church is still there and had its one hundred year anniversary about three years ago. But know it is two rooms and the bathrooms are inside today. I have went back there and visited. I even got to hear the same old bell ring at the start of the service again. I could feel my dads presence in the pew we used to sit in every Sunday. My aunt that played the piano years ago was even there and was still playing that same piano. My heart overflowed with song and praise for my Father on high. Oh how great and merciful He is.

Isaiah 55:1-13
1: Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2: Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3: Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4: Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
5: Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6: Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10: For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12: For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13: Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Isaiah 56:1-8
1: Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
2: Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
3: Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
4: For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
5: Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6: Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
7: Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
8: The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

A Psalm of Praise

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Let us praise the Lord for He is worthy of our praise.

Psalms 100:1-5
1: Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2: Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3: Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5: For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Do Not Accept Living in Sin Anymore

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The correction of our Lord and Saviour is much more than our dads ever could do. Living in sin is a way to see His corrections in ones life. God has many blessings that He wants to give to His children but those blessings will not come to pass until we have started to live for Him. We have a choice to make. Do we live for God Almighty or do we continue to live in our sinful ways. God will forgive anyone who asks that of Him. He is a merciful God. Gods mercy even goes down to our children and there children, or His corrections. Having favor with God will be passed on down your family tree. If God has not been a part of your family you can changes that and in turn that will go down for generations. It is not only our souls that we are dealing with, though how important they are, it is the souls of our children and their children and their children's children. God is always there for you all you have to do is repent of your sins and ask Jesus to save you through the blood that He shed on the cross for all of us and turn your life over to Him. Ask Jesus to come into your life. Romans chapter 10 verse 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Will you take that step or are you going to stay in the shape that you are in now. I pray that all that read this that need your salvation dear Lord that they will ask for it, in Jesus name amen.

Proverbs 11:1-31
1: A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
2: When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
3: The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
4: Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
5: The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
6: The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
7: When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
8: The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
9: An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
10: When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.
11: By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
12: He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.
13: A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
14: Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.
15: He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.
16: A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.
17: The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.
18: The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.
19: As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.
20: They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.
21: Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
22: As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.
23: The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
24: There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
25: The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
26: He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.
27: He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
28: He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
29: He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
30: The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
31: Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.

The Lord Looks for His Lost Sheep

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
"The Lord is my Shepherd". Many have heard those words at one time or another. But they are more than just words put together. The Lord is a shepherd of His people and He watches over them with a careful eye. He looks for those that are lost and wants to bring them back into His fold. If you are lost today, going through some tough times, or simply not feeling loved turn to the Lord and He will not forsake you. He is a loving God and wants to help those that believe on Him. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all other will follow. God will supply our needs according to His will, not ours. That is important to understand. That it is what is of Gods will that will happen and not of what we think that we need. For all things work for the good of His people and for the good of the Kingdom of God. Give praise to God no matter what situation you are in for it is for your good that you be where you are today. God takes us through valleys and over hills. You may be down in one of those valleys right now but keep your faith in God and He will put you on top of that hill in due time.

Matthew 18:10-14
10: Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
11: For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
12: How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
13: And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
14: Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Stay Out of Other Mans Matters

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Jesus instructs us to love one another yet loving one another does not consist of putting yourself in the middle of other men's affairs. We need to watch ourselves and be sure that we are following Gods instructions and not our own understanding. For all things are for the good of Gods people. There are many that use their time to looking into their neighbors affairs when they should be dealing with their own affairs. God tells us there is a time and place for everything. Being in this world and not of this world we must be steadfast in Gods instructions to us.

1Peter 4:1-19
1: Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2: That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3: For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
5: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
6: For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7: But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
8: And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
9: Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
10: As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11: If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
12: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14: If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15: But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
16: Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17: For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18: And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19: Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

One Day is as a Thousand Years

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
There are people that think they know a general time when our Lord and Saviour will return. But I tell you that none know when Jesus is coming. It could be today or it could be a thousand years from today. We need to be ready for His return. With each new day we need to give thanks and praise to God. For He is worthy of our praise. The one and only true God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We must show love towards one another as we have been commanded to do. Love thy neighbor. One day of the Lords is as a thousand years to us. When we think it has been a long time since He was here on this earth we are thinking as this world. But we are not of this world and the world hates us but it hated Christ first. If we were to try to think in Gods time it has only been a couple of days since He was here. This is a good example of how we know not of Heavenly things. There is one thing that is known and that is God loves us. He has not forsaken us nor will He ever leave our side. He is with us each and every second of every day. Praise His dear name. He wants what is best for each of us. That means that He will do whatever it takes to draw us closer to Him. That is part of the trails and the struggles we go through in life. All these things work for the good of His people. Let us give God praise. Thanks be to God.

2Peter 3:1-18
1: This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4: And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5: For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10: But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11: Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12: Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13: Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14: Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15: And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16: As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17: Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18: But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Saul to Paul / Amazing Grace

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Saul was a evil person before the Amazing Grace of Christ came upon him. Saul was having Christians arrested and put into bondage and even allowed the stoning death of Stephen, one of Gods disciples, while standing and watching it happen. But God had plans for Saul and Saul was transformed to Paul. He would become the one that Jesus would speak through for the gentiles, all of us that are not of Jewish decent. Paul is the one that wrote the majority of The New Testament of The Holy Bible.
All of this is done with the Amazing Grace of God.

Acts 9:1-18
1: And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2: And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3: And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5: And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6: And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7: And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
8: And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9: And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11: And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12: And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13: Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15: But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
17: And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18: And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, Who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.

Faith Without Works is Dead

The Bible tells us that even the devils also believe, and tremble. Even so works without faith is dead also. We must have a combination of the two. We must not boast of any works that we do. It is better that our works be known to God than by men. When we become a new man in Christ then we are dead to sin just as Jesus died for our sin. That is not to say that we will never sin again because we still are in our fleshly body, which is of a sinful nature. But we must strive to not sin and to not go looking to live in sin because we know better. Alone we can do nothing but through Jesus Christ all things are possible. Turn to Him for guidance and for the answers to your questions through the Word. He will not ever leave you. His love is forever. Know that He is with you each and every moment of each day and
He wants nothing but the best for His children.
Oh how great and merciful God is.
Give Him praise for He is worthy of our praise.

James 2:14-26
14: What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15: If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16: And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18: Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19: Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20: But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21: Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22: Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23: And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24: Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25: Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26: For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Living in the Spirit not the Flesh

It is so easy to get caught up with the thoughts of the flesh rather than the spirit. For those that believe in Jesus Christ all things work for the good of them and the Kingdom of God. While being of the flesh, for now, we will suffer things of the flesh. But we must look to Spirit for intercession for us according to the will of God. With God all things are possible but without Him we do not have a glimmer of hope. His love for us is great and we will never be separated from His love. He will never leave us or forsake us. Just as we watch over our children Christ does the same for all of us who believe in Him. There are many things in life that happen that we do not understand how God could allow that to happen. Staying fast in the Spirit will help us through those times. Stay in prayer with our Saviour and He will hear you. His will be done. God gave His only Son, what will He give us if we ask Him? Praise His dear name. Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Romans 8:1-39
1: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3: For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5: For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6: For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7: Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8: So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9: But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10: And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12: Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13: For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15: For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16: The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18: For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20: For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21: Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22: For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23: And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24: For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25: But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27: And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30: Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31: What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32: He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33: Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34: Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36: As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39: Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Give Praise to Jesus Christ

Let us praise His dear name as we open our eyes to another day He has given to us. May we go through this day with the praise of Jesus in our thoughts. For He is worthy of our praise and so much more. His grace upon us will sustain us through any trials we may go through today. There will come a day when even the dead will hear His voice and raise up to give praise. Read His word and believe it. Not because someone tells you to but because it is the true word of God. Jesus told us this while He was here on this earth in flesh with us. Eternal life is what we will find through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

John 5:24-47
24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26: For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27: And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29: And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
30: I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
31: If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
32: There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.
33: Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.
34: But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.
35: He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
36: But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
37: And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
38: And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
39: Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40: And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
41: I receive not honour from men.
42: But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
43: I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
44: How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
45: Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
46: For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
47: But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

True Prosperity

We go through life looking at the earthly things that a man has to see his wealth. All these things are as filthy rags according to our Saviour Jesus Christ. Our true prosperity comes from within, knowing and serving God. Ones salvation unto eternal life means more than all things on earth. These things will pass away but we can live forever with Jesus, not taking any of our treasures with us from this world. Men judge each other by the clothes they wear, the car they drive, and the house they own. Live a life looking to the heavens for the things above not for the things here on earth. We can live a life full of peace and tranquility if we will only allow ourselves to with Jesus Christ. Let people see the love of God shine through regardless of what things you may or may not have obtained here on earth. Do not be quick to judge someone on their appearance nor the rings on there hand. Show mercy and kindness all the days of your life and be rewarded for it in heaven.

James 2:1-26
1: My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
2: For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
3: And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
4: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
5: Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
6: But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
7: Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
8: If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
9: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10: For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11: For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12: So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13: For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Being Dead of this World

When you become a new man in Jesus the old man dies and is no more. The new man is dead to sin. He does not look to sin no more. But still living in this world, but not of this world, It is impossible to not sin. That is why Jesus came into this world to give us a way out to eternal life with Him. Accept His love with open arms as He accepts those who trust in Him. How much does Jesus love us? Enough that He died for us!

Romans 6:1-23
1: What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2: God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3: Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5: For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7: For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8: Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10: For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11: Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13: Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14: For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15: What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16: Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17: But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18: Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19: I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20: For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21: What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22: But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Come to Jesus and Learn of Him

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No man come to the Father but through Him. The eternal life that so many have searched for but few find. It is hard to believe in something that you cannot see. So many years have passed from those days when Jesus was on this earth and there were real people seeing the real Jesus in all His glory. Pray unto Jesus and He will give you understanding. Read His words in the Holy Bible. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. There is so much evil in the world that wants to keep us from knowing and believing in Jesus and the price that He paid for you and for me. In one unselfish act Jesus wiped away all our sins who would trust and believe in Him. And they would have eternal life. Follow Jesus not men.

Matthew 11:28-30
28: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29: Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30: For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God

God knows our needs today, tomorrow, even 10 years from now. Do not worry about tomorrow for there is enough to worry about today. Seek the Kingdom of God first and He will supply your needs according to His will. We cannot make it to the Kingdom without Jesus, praise His dear name. We allow other things to occupy our mind rather than seeking the Kingdom of God. Our lives are more than wealth and what we are going to do tomorrow. We must first give thanks to the Lord and seek His ways for us. We need not lean on our own understanding. We will only know what God allows us to know in His time not our time. So be patient for it is a virtue.

Matthew 6:19-34
19: Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22: The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23: But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
24: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25: Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26: Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27: Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28: And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

This is part of Pauls writing to Timothy while he was locked up in a cold dungeon knowing that his work was at an end as well as his life. This occurred under the Emperor Nero 66-67 AD. He is worried about the persecuting of the church.

2 Timothy 4:1-22
1: I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4: And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5: But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
6: For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
9: Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
10: For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
11: Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
12: And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
13: The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
14: Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
15: Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
16: At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
17: Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18: And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
19: Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.
20: Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.
21: Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22: The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.

Praise The Lord

Give praise to the Lord for all is His in and out of this world. Be good stewards of His property and He will bless you.

Matthew 7:7-8
7: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Hate Towards Christians

Jesus knows exactly what it means to be hated in this world because He said they hated Him first. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no man goes to the Father but through Him. Jesus is our way to God. There is no other way. The Holy Bible is the living word of God. Read it to get closer to Him.

John 15:1-27
1: I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3: Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6: If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8: Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9: As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10: If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11: These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12: This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14: Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15: Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16: Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17: These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18: If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19: If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20: Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21: But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
22: If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
23: He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24: If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25: But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26: But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

To the saints and faithful brethren

Colossians 1:1-29
1: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,
2: To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3: We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4: Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
5: For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6: Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
7: As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
8: Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
9: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10: That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11: Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12: Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18: And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19: For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;
20: And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
21: And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22: In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
24: Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
25: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God;
26: Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Live and Teach Good Works

Live a life of morality, doing good works whenever possible. Helping your fellow man. God's love is given to us to share with others. Just attending church once a week is not true Christian living. Attending church is very important. I am not saying that it isn't. But we are instructed to be more like Jesus. I believe that Jesus spent most of His time with the non believers sharing the word of God to them. We all are not meant to do one thing it is designed for the responsibilities to be shared with all believers. It must start in ones own life before it can be transferred to others. Live a life of integrity and honesty loving each other wishing harm to no one. Paul wrote to Titus below instructing him.

Titus 3:1-11
1: Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2: To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3: For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4: But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6: Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7: That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8: This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9: But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10: A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11: Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Where Does Love Come From ?

Love comes from God. God is love. As one has love for a child so does God have love for us. But our love from God must go deeper than that. We must love one another. God knows our hearts and knows if His love is in there. God wants a relationship with each and everyone of us. Open your hearts and minds, read His word and see what He is trying to tell you. Through Jesus Christ God will receive us all who call upon Him.

1 John 4:7-21
7: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9: In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10: Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11: Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12: No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13: Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
14: And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
15: Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16: And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17: Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19: We love him, because he first loved us.
20: If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21: And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

The Beheading of John The Baptist

This type of action has been going on for thousands of years. It is time for it to stop. Christians bring out the full armor of God and lets spead the good news of Jesus Christ to all.

Mark6:14-29
14: And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
15: Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.
16: But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.
17: For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.
18: For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.
19: Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:
20: For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
21: And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;
22: And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
23: And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.
24: And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.
25: And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.
26: And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.
27: And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
28: And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.
29: And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.
