I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

A Word To The Young People Today

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Our children in public schools today have a troublesome time, especially finding Jesus Christ. If the children are not taught of Christ at home they will not hear of Him in school. Those children that attend church with someone, be it their parents or someone else, also struggle with salvation. There is so much evil in the world that it is overcoming to a young heart. These young people need to know about Jesus Christ and how He died on a cross for their sins. All of this is real and God is real. It is not something to be taken lightly.

I have a friend that had a young boy that was working at a gas station after school. We will call him Chad. Chad had a friend one day come into the station for some gas. While Chad was putting gas in the other young boys truck he saw a shotgun in the truck. Chad asked about it. His friend said, yea I just bought that today. Chad asked if he could look at it. His friend agreed and Chad picked the gun up from within the cab of the truck. When Cad had the gun out of the truck somehow the gun went off in his hands hitting him in the head killing him just a hundred feet from a hospital.

This was a tragic accident but it puts an importance on knowing Jesus Christ before it is to late. Some young people think that they have a few years before they have to quit whatever sins they are doing now. But the truth is that no one knows what will happen today or tomorrow, or a week from now. Some do not think they need Christ in their life at all. Others simply do not believe what the Holy Bible says. They do not think that what is in the Bible is true. But the Bible is the true living Word of God. And people today need to realize this before it is to late.

Salvation is not something to be taken lightly. Young people have many, many peers that will influence them every day that they are with them.

Calling out for the young people today to take a stance for God. Jesus Christ is the only way to Him and to eternal life with Him. It does not seem to urgent to you right know because you think that since I am young I do not have to worry about this right now. But let me tell you that our life here on earth is just a flash of light compared to what is to come. We do not know what may happen tomorrow. Try to grasp the meaning of the word eternity. It is hard to do because all we see is when a person dies is that they are no longer here in body. That is were faith comes in. You must put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. The sooner the better. After that person dies, if he/she was saved, then they are spending eternity in Heaven with God. That is were we all should want to end up.

So truly think about what I said here. If you want to talk. Talk to your parents or a pastor about it or you are more than welcome to get in contact with me. Simply leave a comment. It comes to my e-mail and I am the one who decides whether to post it on the blog or not. If you do not want it published for others to see just tell me and I will respect your request. It will be between you, me, and God.

It is very important that you do not get deceived by someone telling you the wrong way to get to Heaven. The best way to prove to yourself that you are going in the right direction is to read the Bible and pray to the Lord in Jesus' name. Everything you need to know is in the Bible. If you have any questions do not hesitate to comment to me. I am not saying that I am the only one telling the truth of God's Word. But the Bible does.

2 Peter 1:3-11
3: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5: And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6: And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7: And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8: For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9: But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10: Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
