Presenting A Question To You

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
In the Holy Bible there are many things taught to us. Paul does a lot of teaching in his writings. But I am curious, not being hateful or hurtful, or trying to judge others God forbid, in 1 Corinthians Chapter 11 Paul is writing to Corinth telling them for every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head and every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. So the question I am presenting is: Do we go by Paul's teachings to Corinth or not? And why or why not?


1 Corinthians 11:1-34
1: Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2: Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4: Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5: But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6: For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

29: For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30: For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31: For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32: But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

The Gentiles Be Fulfilled

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Deuteronomy 28:13:And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

We hear this all the time on T.V. evangelism. Not the tail but the head. I say to you that God was speaking to His people in those days which have turned from Him time after time in the Old Testament and even now will not accept Christ as their Saviour. God has hardened their hearts even to this day until the day of the gentiles being fulfilled has come. This is to say that God has a list of Gentiles that must have accepted Christ as their Saviour and be written in the Lambs Book of Life before He will unharden the hearts of His people to accept Christ. And Christ will not return until the list of the gentiles has been fulfilled. Luke 21:36 is very important.

Luke 21:20: And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21: Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
Luke 21:34: And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35: For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36: Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

I fear God. He is all powerful, all knowing, and can do what He says He will do. I praise His dear name for He is worthy of praise. Reading the Old Testament, time after time His people turn from Him. This is over a span of many many years. I fear that we as gentiles do the same thing and are unaware of the similarity of it. Do we not think that if we turn from God that He will not punish us. I believe He will. It says in the Bible that Christ will discipline His children as a dad would here on earth.

I do not know what a generation is as Bible time, as it is stated in Luke below, but as our time should we not be worried for our children and their children's children for what we do pertaining to God. I think that our punishment for any sins we may receive, if we turn from God, will also transfer down to our generations that we leave behind.

Luke 21:1-38
1: And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2: And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3: And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
5: And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6: As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7: And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

A Word To The Young People Today

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Our children in public schools today have a troublesome time, especially finding Jesus Christ. If the children are not taught of Christ at home they will not hear of Him in school. Those children that attend church with someone, be it their parents or someone else, also struggle with salvation. There is so much evil in the world that it is overcoming to a young heart. These young people need to know about Jesus Christ and how He died on a cross for their sins. All of this is real and God is real. It is not something to be taken lightly.

I have a friend that had a young boy that was working at a gas station after school. We will call him Chad. Chad had a friend one day come into the station for some gas. While Chad was putting gas in the other young boys truck he saw a shotgun in the truck. Chad asked about it. His friend said, yea I just bought that today. Chad asked if he could look at it. His friend agreed and Chad picked the gun up from within the cab of the truck. When Cad had the gun out of the truck somehow the gun went off in his hands hitting him in the head killing him just a hundred feet from a hospital.

This was a tragic accident but it puts an importance on knowing Jesus Christ before it is to late. Some young people think that they have a few years before they have to quit whatever sins they are doing now. But the truth is that no one knows what will happen today or tomorrow, or a week from now. Some do not think they need Christ in their life at all. Others simply do not believe what the Holy Bible says. They do not think that what is in the Bible is true. But the Bible is the true living Word of God. And people today need to realize this before it is to late.

Salvation is not something to be taken lightly. Young people have many, many peers that will influence them every day that they are with them.

Calling out for the young people today to take a stance for God. Jesus Christ is the only way to Him and to eternal life with Him. It does not seem to urgent to you right know because you think that since I am young I do not have to worry about this right now. But let me tell you that our life here on earth is just a flash of light compared to what is to come. We do not know what may happen tomorrow. Try to grasp the meaning of the word eternity. It is hard to do because all we see is when a person dies is that they are no longer here in body. That is were faith comes in. You must put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. The sooner the better. After that person dies, if he/she was saved, then they are spending eternity in Heaven with God. That is were we all should want to end up.

So truly think about what I said here. If you want to talk. Talk to your parents or a pastor about it or you are more than welcome to get in contact with me. Simply leave a comment. It is very important that you do not get deceived by someone telling you the wrong way to get to Heaven. The best way to prove to yourself that you are going in the right direction is to read the Bible and pray to the Lord in Jesus' name. Everything you need to know is in the Bible. History And The Holy Bible

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
A little history for some. It was around 700BC when Isaiah, in the Old Testament, was written. And in Isaiah chapter 7 verse 14 it says "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.". Now this is truly a miraculous thing that Isaiah would have this knowledge 700 years before Christ was even born. It had to be given to him by God.

For some sceptics on the dates there are other historical documents that coincide with the Holy Bible

Now, during this time there was a king of Assyria named king Sennacherib, son of Sargon, who marched against Jerusalem and other Judaean cities, and possibly into Egypt and Ethiopia. The Bible states that there were 185,000 Assyrians killed when the Angel of the Lord went into their camp. Some historians say 150,000. It was a lot of people either way.

The more that science evolves the more you will see being in line with the Bible.

There are a lot of archaeological finds now that support the Bible. Here are some.

There are a lot of confused young people out there today that need to hear and be shown what the facts really are. Some do not know that there is actual documentation that proves the accuracy of the Bible. We need to change that.

Personally I think that there should be a class in public schools, for the ones that want it, to be able to study the Bible every day.

I believe, that for some other religions, schools are required to give them time to pray throughout the day. I have not researched this so I can't say for sure. But if that is true why do Christians not get time to pray and read the Bible? Wouldn't that be the fair thing to do?

It is always Christians offending others, according to public opinion. But no one worries about offending Christians, at all. For those who do not know, Christians have the same rights as anybody else here in the U.S. We are just not allowed them.

Isaiah 7:10-16
10: Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
11: Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
12: But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.
13: And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
14: Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15: Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
16: For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

Get A Second Opinion. Your Life Depends On It

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
From Luke we see "And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends;". This is out of The Holy Bible. There are those who have been taught by parents and others the wrong way to salvation and in so doing the wrong way to God. There is but one way and that is Jesus Christ. There are millions of people , that for generations, have been guided in the wrong direction. If your religion believes in The Holy Bible then I would urge you to read and study it for yourselves. Do not just take someone else's word on it. This is also the way God uses to speak to us, through His word.

If you were diagnosed with a fatal disease would you not seek, out at least, one other opinion before you simply accept that you were going to die within two months time? I believe I would. Being lost without God is fatal for eternity. Some people think that they are going to Heaven without believing in Jesus Christ. That, my friend, is not going to be the case. Your health here on earth has nothing to do with eternity yet some are more concerned about dying than salvation. We are only here on earth for a short time compared to eternity. Having eternal life with Jesus Christ is real and is free to those who believe in Him. Just think how much is spent on medical bills. And I am one of those, also, willing to spend what I need to for health care. I put my trust in God that He has given the doctors what they need to help me and others. But eternal life is totally free for the asking. No insurance bills to worry about. It is absolutely, undeniably free to all who want it and will ask for it.

Ask yourself one question. Do I want to choose to believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and live forever with Him or do I believe that what I have done has given me enough credits to get into Heaven? It is by nothing we have done that gets us into Heaven but what Jesus Christ has already done for us. It is your choice and all that you need to know is in The Holy Bible. Read it and see if what you are being taught is the truth from the word of God. If you are not being taught the truth then go somewhere else. Your life depends on it. It is that simple. God does not lie and the Hole Bible is His inspired word. Read it. Believe it.

We just had a terrible automobile accident here locally that took the lives of three young kids. Ages 10,11,and 12. My thoughts and prayers are with those families in their time of mourning. We do not know what is in our future. There is no way to know that. But we can be sure of one thing . That is eternal life and going to Heaven when our time hear on earth is over.

Pay close attention to what you are being taught. Look it up in the Bible. Read the Bible. Do not take my word for it either. Be sure of your own salvation and live the rest of your life in peace knowing there is a better place that we will be going to.

Israel And Their Borders

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Here are some maps of Israel. There are four all together starting with the Biblical boundaries, which has two. One from Genesis and one from Numbers Here.
This next one is "the world as known to the Hebrews" coming out of the Blue Letter Bible Here.

I personally did not realise the vast difference between what the Bible has put as boundaries by Gods' word and the modern day boundaries that we know today. It helps me to understand more of what is going on in the middle east.

Some are seeing the war in Iraq as the 1st Step for the Restoration of Israel’s Biblical Borders. Here is an article to that effect Here. It is very interesting.

We do not know when Christ will return but why not be ready for Him and not have to worry about it? Christ said that He would come as a thief in the night to the non-believers. But to those who believe in Him would know because they would be watching for Him.

Lets keep watching for Christ and praising His dear name. A lot of time is wasted trying to figure out just when He is returning. But Christ has already told us that no one would know when. I do not think God is a lier. So why would you even attempt to figure it out when God has already spoken. If you find yourself doing this stop and do something more productive, like praising God and worshipping Him in prayer.

Revelation 20:1-15
1: And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2: And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Seeking Signs

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Jesus told the people that this was an evil generation who seek signs and none was going to be given to them, other than the Son of man[Jesus Christ].
Jesus told them that Jonas was a sign for the Ninevites. This is located in the northern part of Iraq, see map . And Solomon was a sign to the queen of the south [Queen of Sheba]. When the Queen of Sheba visited Solomon she was amazed at all the blessings that God had given to him and his people [Israel]. The actual location of the historical kingdom[Sheba] is disputed between Ethiopia and Yemen see map. However, it is possible that it could have been situated in Ethiopia and Yemen.
Jesus told them that there was one even greater then Jonas or Solomon here. That would be Jesus Christ. These places in the Bible are real and Jesus Christ is real. Believe in Him without waiting for any signs because there is not going to be any until that great day that Christ returns. Don't wait until it is to late. Jesus has come to save us not to destroy us.

Luke 11:29-32
29: And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
30: For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
31: The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
32: The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

Do Not Deceive Anyone

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We all would like to think that every soul will go to Heaven. But that truly is not the case and it is stated that way in the Bible. We must not let those who do not believe in Jesus Christ think that they will make it to Heaven. It is our responsibility to not imply that everything is OK just because someone is a friend or a good person. Do not trivialize the importance of Jesus Christ for He is the only way. We must be willing to speak the truth, not only for their sake but for ours also. Because the Lord will hold us responsible. Yes it is true, anyone who does not believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will go to hell. I do not assume that I can judge anyone. I know very well that it is not I but Christ who will do that. So do not get your feelings hurt on my account. It is not I that came up with this or made it up. It is in the Holy Bible. Some go through life day in and day out not knowing what they are headed for. And to this I am sincerely troubled. I fear the wrath of God. I can not begin to imagine what that would be like. I do know that any trouble that we have gone through here on earth will be pale in comparison to it. There are a lot of people that claim to be ordained to preach the gospel yet some just tell you what you want to hear and that in itself is a sin. If they are truly ordained to preach the gospel then hell is in that teaching. Read the passage from The Holy Bible kjv below carefully. I want to be clear that this is not coming from me but from Gods' Word.

1 Corinthians 6:1-10
1: Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2: Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3: Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
4: If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
5: I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
6: But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

Don't Worry About Election

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
To accept eternal life, to have everlasting life. Is this not what we want for ourselves, our children, and for others? By the grace of God we all can have this. Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." We hear a lot about only the elect will be His people. This is in the scripture. But only God knows who is His elect. This has for some time concerned me and also confused me at times. To the fact of how does one know if he is an elect of God. 2 Peter below will help to explain. As far as my belief that I have received from reading the word is that when you call upon the name of the Lord you will be saved. Only God knows His elect and I do not think that anyone has the right or knowledge to be able to judge someone concerning whether they are or not one of His elect. I believe that if someone is not one of the elect that God has hardened his heart so as they will not accept Christ as their Saviour. For those that call upon the name of the Lord and receive Christ as their Saviour I feel that it is a done deal. That person who repents of their sins, believes that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God that died on the cross for our sins and arose on the third day victorious over death. Removing the sting of death from us. That person is saved and is going to Heaven. Some pastors make a point of teaching election as if he where boasting about it and putting doubt in some that have been saved. But I say to you that doubt is of the devil and not of God. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. I know that God is not a liar. God will see to it that only His elect will get to Him. Not a pastor that seems to be trying to put everything taught on election. This can be very confusing for some and actually turn some away. I think that the election is completely in Gods' hands and it is nothing for us to have to worry about. God will do what he says He will do. Do not worry whether you are one of the elect or not. If you have been saved and follow 2 Peter 1 below you are one of the elect. Do not spend your time spinning your wheels on this. Move on and study the Word of God and you will be fine.


John 6:47: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."

Saving Souls For Jesus

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I have run across some self called Christians and who am I to know whether they are or not. Specifically one that I will not name but he is involved in one of the largest evangelical ministries today. I had written the ministry a simple question and they did everything but answer the question. On my second attempt to get an answer they wrote me back and this is an excerpt of it.

"It is apparent that you disagree that any assistance should be given
this 'Jewish' organization without having an evangelistic 'condition'.
You believe you are correct in your assessment; nevertheless, this is
the position that this ministry has taken in regard to this outreach.
Thank you for sharing this information with our ministry."

Call me ignorant or what you will here is my question that I had sent them:
Hello, I was wanting to know if Jesus Christ is in your beliefs anywhere and
how or why not? Thank You" This was all I wrote.

I had already given to these people and the answer to my question would not have changed that.

I was just wanting to understand what and how they believed. But I could not get an answer. I did some research on my own and found what I was looking for, I think. But why would anyone respond to a simple question like this without answering it? It seems as though they were very defensive in their response to me. I know that they must have to deal with a lot of e-mail criticizing them in one way or another. I did not intend for my question to be construed as such, but it was.
The reason for sharing this with you is to not dog them in any way. I would just like to point out that if anyone is trying to get information from you or me why would we not be enthused by that. That would mean to me that God is working in someones heart and spirit to gain knowledge. Maybe I am naive. But if someone asks me a question I try to answer it openly and honestly. I think that is the only way to be. There is enough politics going on in the political arena. Let us show the love that Gods' grace has given us through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour sharing the good news of Christ along with the mercy and compassion that goes along with it.
If someone is in need we should care about that. Not what religion they are. For Gods' love has no boundaries. In showing that more may come to Christ and be saved. Wouldn't that be great?
For so many trying to do the same thing, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, there is a lot of division from within. We all need to work together for the common goal of saving souls for Jesus Christ. Amen?

Testing Our Own Spirit

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
There were offerings made to God in the Old Testament. There were different types of offerings which were very specific as ordered by God through Moses. The descriptions of these are found in Leviticus chapters 1-9. It is good to read the Old Testament to really see how God and His people were together through a lot of turmoil. Bringing them out of Egypt is one. God's power always amazes me. He has the power over all things. Even now.
I was talking to a friend about just putting everything in God's hands and he gave me an example of how, when he was a child, his dad would tell him not to do something that may harm him. Like, get to close to the water of a pond they had on their farm or not to go through those weeds because a snake might be in there. But that was not really what I was saying. I was not saying to jump of the top of a high building or anything remotely close to that. Then I realized that is just what God does He protects us from things by giving us the knowledge not to do things and being able to teach our children the same. Once we make the choice to do something that is clearly going to harm us in some way, it was ourselves that put us in that position not God. If we knowingly sin in some way, that is one thing that is harming us. We can not knowingly continually sin over and over. That would not be the spirit of Christ in us. We would need to get rid of that spirit and turn to Jesus Christ for the one true spirit that we so urgently need in our lives. He can still do miracles even as in the Old Testament. We must have faith in Christ first for any to happen to us. God is the same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow. That is why we should read the Old Testament to see some of the history that went on and learn from it. Taking time to read the Word everyday is very important. That is how God will speak to us.

No More Death

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
By God's grace may we learn and grow closer to Him. For Jesus is our salvation and our refuge from evil in the world. For those that Christ has chosen may He look kindly and merciful on them. For the ones that have not yet seeked the kingdom of God. May God unharden their hearts for them to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. For there is no other way but through Christ. Not because of what we have done but because of what He has done for us. He died and arose being victorious over death for all sinners so that they would also have a way to eternal everlasting life with our God the Father of all things. We are all sinners by nature lest we repent of our sins and accept Jesus. " God Himself shall be with them, and be their God".

Revalation 21:1-8

Pray Pray Pray

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
For someone who may not know. At the very top of this page you can enter a word or phrase in and search this blog to see if I have anything pertaining to that.
When we wake up in the morning the very first thing coming to our thoughts should be us thanking and praising God for another day to be able to praise and worship Him. Starting the day that way is pleasing to God. We will have a better attitude and be better equipped to face the struggles of that day. It truly makes a difference when we know that everything is in God's hands. It is not all on our shoulders to bear alone. This does not come to all in the same way. When we get born again, saved, by the grace of God through His Son Jesus Christ not all things will change right then. But some do. I used to be a very heavy drinker, to put it lightly. But when Christ came into my life He took that all away for me. I was going to die from my alcohol abuse and I know it. It had been going on for twenty years+. I still have my faults and will have them until I am away from this earthly body. It is different for everyone. It is a process and a wonderful journey when Christ comes into your life. He will work in us all of our days getting us ready to be with Him. Do not give up on God because He will never ever leave you. He is with us always. Pray to the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ. Do not just use Him in times of sickness or of death. Some wait until they are in grave danger or on their death bed before they will speak to God. Don't let that be you. Jesus wants to be your friend and as a friend would you not talk to Him everyday? You will see changes in your life. Believe me. This is a personal thing between you and Christ. He knows you and loves you. That is why He died for us.

Pure At Heart

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Let me start by saying that there is no one perfect in all of the world, especially myself. The first thing that we are to do is "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." And the second is "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." "On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." These two commandments are straight forward and easy to understand. It also tells us in the Bible that "Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God." Yet human nature itself keeps us from having a pure heart. It tells us in Ezekiel 11:19 "And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:" This scripture was God talking about His people of Israel in context but do you not think that is exactly what Christ will do for us? God does not respect persons. He respects what is of the heart, and in the spirit of that person. Being born again is on the inside not the outside. Oh, we may change something about our appearance but this has not one thing to do with our salvation. I guess where I am trying to get to is that we must humble ourselves and just do what is right. Romans 3:10: "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" But, Romans 5:19: "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20: Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. "

Romans 2:1-29
1: Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2: But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3: And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Lonely And Hurting. Come To Jesus

Thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Isn't it amazing that the death of one Man can give life to so many. But also isn't it amazing at how many people have turned from Him, not believing nor giving praise. Oh how wonderful the world would be if we all were one. But this is not to be according to the Lord our Saviour. Christ said that He came to this world to separate us. And that He did. But He also says that He came into this world to save this world not to condemn it. But whosoever does not believe in Him is condemned already. People get so caught up in the things of this world and do not take time to, as some say, smell the roses. Life is so much better living it with Jesus Christ. He said that He would supply all our needs according to His will. That is not to say that everyone will be rich in worldly possessions and this certainly does not say that we will be poor of them either. We just cannot put them before God. We cannot worship two Gods, money and God. Or whatever else may come before God. Most of the time it is money or worldly possessions. If we put God first everything else will follow. Seek first the Kingdom of God.
I have a son that is 4 years old, Dylan. The other night I was in another room from him and heard him start crying after being corrected by his mother. I wanted to go in there and just pick him up and tell him everything is OK, I love you so much. But I knew that was not the right thing to do at the time. While I was listening to his cries it hit me. Jesus Christ is hearing our cries and wants so much to come to us and hold us and tell us that He loves us so much. But He cannot do that unless we believe in Him. God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins that we may have everlasting life with Him. There is no love greater than that. He hears our cries just let Him in.


John 3:15-21

OLMERT: THERE WILL BE NO CEASE-FIRE IN COMING DAYS: Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Monday evening that there would be no cease-fire in the coming days, despite a 48-hour halt in Israel Air Force activity in Lebanon. "Israel is continuing to fight," Olmert said in an address to the nation from Tel Aviv. He said the offensive in southern Lebanon would end when the rockets fired by Hezbollah cease and the two Israel Defense Forces soldiers abducted on July 12 are returned. (Haaretz)

KANA COLLAPSE WAS HOURS AFTER ATTACK: Over 50 civilians, most of them children, were killed on Sunday in a building in the southern Lebanese village of Kfar Kana, apparently as a result of an IAF missile strike. Air Force officials said that the three-story building had been struck a little after midnight and that it only collapsed seven hours later. One high-ranking IAF officer said the IDF had warned Kfar Kana residents to evacuate the village in anticipation of airstrikes on Katyusha launchers. The building hit Sunday was chosen as a target after intelligence indicated that Hizballah guerrillas were hiding inside, where Katyusha rockets and launchers were also hidden. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert expressed deep regret for the harm inflicted on the civilians in Kfar Kana. (Jerusalem Post)

HIZBALLAH ESCALATES WAR WITH NEW LONG-RANGE ROCKETS: Hizballah terrorists late Friday afternoon fired five new longer-range missiles, never before seen in Israel, on the city of Afula. It is the furthest south they have hit. Netanya may have been their target. Reports say that each rocket carried 200 pounds of explosives. No one was injured in the attack, and the IDF announced shortly afterwards that Air Force planes succeeded in destroying the launcher that fired the missiles. MIRACLE IN NORTH: 120 ROCKETS, ONLY 4 LIGHTLY INJURED:
Hizballah terrorists attacked Israel with hundreds of rockets throughout northern Israel, but only four people suffered injuries. One person was wounded seriously, three others suffered light wounds and several others were treated for shock. The injured were in Ma'alot and in a Haifa suburb. Dozens of rockets hit Kiryat Shemona, the Haifa area, Tiberias, Tzfat, Karmiel and Druze and Arab villages in the Lower Galilee. (Arutz-7)

AL QAEDA CHIEF DECLARES JIHAD AGAINST JEWISH STATE:
Al-Qaeda second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahiri issued a call for Jihadists around the globe to attack Israel and make the entire region, "from Spain to Iraq" into an Islamic kingdom. Al-Zawahiri declared a Jihad (holy war) against Israel on behalf of the global Jihadist movement. "…War with Israel does not depend on ceasefires. It is Jihad for sake of God and will last until our religion prevails from Spain to Iraq." Islamists believe that Spain was once controlled by Muslims, and must be wrested from the hands of the infidel." IDF PREPARED FOR ATTACK BY SYRIA: While Israel is not interested in opening a front against Syria, if President Bashar Assad decides to attack Israel, the IDF will respond harshly and with its full might, a high-raking IDF officer in the Northern Command told the press on Sunday. The IDF is also concerned about a possible Syrian attack on Israel in response to the ongoing IDF operations in Lebanon. Syria has increased its alert along the border out of fear in Damascus that Israel might attack Syria. (Jerusalem Post)

NASRALLAH IS IN DAMACUS:
A top Iranian envoy was in Syria late last week for talks on the Israeli-Hizballah conflict in a meeting that brought together the terrorist organization's two key sponsors. A Kuwaiti newspaper reported that Hizballah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah was taking part in the session. Kuwait's Al-Siyassah newspaper said the meeting was designed to discuss ways to maintain supplies to Hezbollah fighters with Iranian arms flowing through Syrian territories. (Jerusalem Post)

NASRALLAH'S HIZBALLAH SEEKS TO SURVIVE ISRAEL'S OFFENSIVE:
Hizballah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah sought to ensure his group's survival in Lebanon by lowering the bar for what would constitute victory. He defined victory as a successful defense, and has not shied away from acknowledging the gravity of defeat. A defeat in Lebanon will end the region's resistance movements, the Palestinian cause, and impose Israel's conditions for a (Middle East) settlement, he warned in a recent television interview. We love martyrdom, he said, but we take precautions to deny the enemy an easy victory. (Daily Alert) "Your enemies will be clothed in shame, and the tents of the wicked will be no more." Job 8:22

U.N. CALLS HIZBALLAH'S HIDING AMONG CIVILIANS "COWARDLY" ACT:
The chief humanitarian U.N. administrator who visited Lebanon last week, said Hizballah is the cause of hundreds of civilian deaths. "I heard they were proud because they lost very few fighters and that it was the civilians bearing the brunt of this. I don't think anyone should be proud of having many more children and women dead than armed men," Jan Egeland said. IRANIANS VOLUNTEER TO FIGHT ISRAEL:
Surrounded by yellow Hizballah flags, more than 60 Iranian volunteers set off last week to join what they called a holy war against Israeli forces in Lebanon. The group plans to join about 200 other volunteers on the way to the Turkish border. Iran says it will not attempt to stop volunteer guerrillas. Iran and Syria are Hizballah's main sponsors. We are just the first wave of Islamic warriors from Iran, said Amir Jalilinejad, chairman of the Student Justice Movement that helped recruit the fighters.
