I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

The Lord is with us always

Have patience through all our days because the Lord is always with us. Take time to enjoy the things of this life. God wants only the best for His children. Our lives may not be easy at times but that is Christ working in us to bring us closer to where He wants us to be. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart and believe in Him to supply all your needs. All belongs to God and if it is His will for us to be blessed with any of it He will do so. Some may take this as all meaning monitarily. Well that is far from the case. We should be looking towards heaven looking for our real inheritance to come. A place where there will be no more sorrow, no more pain, no more dealth, no more tears. God will wipe all tears away. Oh what a glorious time that will be. Be thankful today for what we do have. Our health, sight, family, a roof over our heads, food to eat, and water to drink, living in a free country. Just to name a very few things to be thankful for. God has truly blessed us. Let us give Him praise each and everyday. Let us all have comfort in God loves us.

Colossians3:11
Where there is neither Greek
nor Jew, circumcision nor
uncircumcision, barbarian,
Scythian, bond nor free:
but Christ is all, and in all.

Psalm37:39-40
But the salvation of the
righteous is of the Lord:
He is their strength in the
time of trouble.
And the Lord shall help them,
and deliver them:
He shall deliver them from the
wicked,
And save them, because they
trust in him.

Serving in the newness of spirit

There are times that we all will go through and struggle to interpret the word of God for His direction in a particular matter. There are so many people willing to give advise. But there is only one who will truly tell you what you need to know and that one person is God. One thing to keep in mind is that Jesus has already paid the ultimate price for us. Christ died on a cross for our sins. Our sin dept is paid in full to those who believe in Him. If we are born again then we are no longer a slave to sin. We need to be very careful with the advise we give and the advise we get. We need to let God direct us in all we do. And in all we do we do to glorify Him. Putting total faith in that He will guide us in the way He would have us go. Giving Him thanks and praise for all things.

Romans7:4-6
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also
are become dead to the law by the
body of Christ; that ye should be married
to another, even to him who is
raised from the dead, that we should
bring forth fruit unto God.
For when we were in the flesh,
the motions of sins, which were by
the law, did work in our members
to bring forth fruit unto dealth.
But now we are delivered from
the law, that being dead where in we
were held; that we should serve in
newness of spirit, and not in the oldness
of the letter.

Romans8:1-2
There is therefore now no condemnation
to them which are in Christ Jesus
who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life
in Christ Jesus hath made me free
from the law of sin and dealth.

Danger in the USA

You know, there are millions of people that have not even heard of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. I think that it is a fact that most of them live in what is called the 10/40 window. But along with spreading the word to those people that are in such need also there are those in need right here in the United States. We are becoming more and more divided. Our children and their children are going to be hurt the worst by this. There was a reason for saying, "One Nation Under God". Our country is headed for destruction plain and simple. Only by the grace of God can we stand. All throughout history you can see what happens to those who turn from God. And the only way to God is through Jesus Christ. The president of this great country cannot even say Jesus Christ anymore. What is he worried about? He is not going to be up for reelection! And the way the other, so called, leaders of this nation are acting is despicable. It is not just one party or another. They all have their own agendas and it is not the welfare of this great country. Oh, there may be a few still honest, God fearing people around the whitehouse but that is what it is, few.

Matthew12:36-37
But I say unto you, That every
idle word that man shall speak, they
shall give an account thereof in the day of
judgment.
For by thy words thou shalt be
justified, and by thy words thou shalt
be condemned.

Mark8:38
Whosoever therefore shall be
ashamed of me and of my words in
this adulterous and sinful generation;
of him also shall the Son of man be
ashamed, when he cometh in the glory
of his Father with the holy angels.

Mtthew7:22-23
Many will say to me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in thy name? and in thy name have
cast out devils? and in thy name done
many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto
them, I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.

I John4:7-8
Beloved, let us love one another:
for love is of God; and every one
that loveth is born of God, and
knoweth God.
He that loveth not, knoweth not
God; for God is love.

A Prayer

Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now. I am asking You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them. Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, and strength as they learn submission to your leading. Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You. Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to them Your courage. Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it. I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name.

I was sent this in an e-mail to pass on to others. I thought this would be the best way for me to do that. God Bless

God will supply our needs according to His will

When times get tough you have to "keep on keeping on". God will supply your needs according to His will. There will be times that our faith is not as strong as we think it should be. Get rid of all of those negative thoughts. Our God is a gracious God. By His grace we are able to continue to grow closer to Him. If it seems as though we are not moving closer to Him, we are. We all will have times where we are tested before we can move on to the next level with Him. God will test us to see where we stand in our faith with Him. Theses times allow us to move closer to Him. Do not get discouraged for this is a great time in our life when we are able to get closer to God. Take advantage of this time and look to Him for guidance. He will not forsake us. God loves us and wants us to love each other. So keep on keeping on and let Gods' light shine on and in us all.

John8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto
them, saying, I am the light of the
world: he that followeth me shall not
walk in darkness, but shall have the
light of life.

Matthew5:16
Let you light so shine before
men, that they may see your good
works, and glorify your Father which
is in heaven.

A call for all to unite

I have already written concerning the gift of giving. I have also had an idea on this matter. If you would just bear with me for a moment I will suggest a way for people who donate to any organization to get more for there dollar.
There are so many organizations that truly do good for those in need. There are to many for me to count. So why must there be so many individual organizations? We are in the year 2006. Times have changed and we need to also. Regardless of our own personal interests or why we choose to the ones we give to, why can there not be one central relief organization with multiple sub affiliates? It would seem to make sense that the bigger the organization is the more of an impact they could have around the world, including the U.S.A. There would be better organization of distribution by knowing who is doing what. The organization would be better at negotiating pricing for goods that are needed. There would be many other benefits as well. We all need to put our own differences aside and come together for the greater good of all. We do not have to agree on everything, that is the part where we put our differences aside. With all the money that God has provided for us there should not be all this starving and homeless around the world in this day and time. I realize that each organization is doing a wealth of good but we still have issues around the world today as far as humanitarian needs not being met. Again I ask why can't there be a uniting of efforts between all the organizations to better funnel the resources being given for these purposes. It is only the opinion of one but why must there be thousands of separate organizations trying to, ultimately , do the same thing? Is it because they have a personal agenda that they need to move away from and look to Jesus for there uniting. Jesus tells us to visit the sick, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, take care of the widows and orphans. We can do this with Gods help and become one under Him our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Who will stand and bring them together rather than segregate. Who will stand for the greater cause and not of his own understanding. Who?

Matthew25:40
And the King shall answer and
say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto
one of the least of these my brethren,
ye have done it unto me.

Matthew25:44-46
Then shall they also answer
him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee
a hunger, or athirst, or a stranger, or
naked, or sick, or in prison, and did
not minister unto thee?
Then shall he answer them, saying,
Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch
as ye did it not to one of the least
of these, ye did it not to me.
And these shall go away into
everlasting punishment: but the
righteous into life eternal.

Romans12:20-21
Therefore if thine enemy
hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him
drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap
coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but
overcome evil with good.

We will never be separated from Gods love.

God is love.
We all will have our trials and our sorrows while here on this earth. But God has told us that we would never be separated from His love. For His love is great and with us always. Let us not judge one another for He is the judge of all. Let us show our love towards others. This will help bring others to Him.

Romans8:31-32
What shall we then say to these
things? If God be for us, who can be
against us?
He that spared not his own Son,
but delivered him up for us all,
how shall he not with him also freely
give us all things?

Things in this world sometimes will get us down. That is OK. It is human nature, that is how we are designed. But how we overcome that is the undeserved love of God upon us. He will never put any more on you than you can bear. His love will always be there.

Romans8:39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any
other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God,
which is Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus has a place for us. Look to Him

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus loves all. He has gone away for a while but He will return again. He is preparing a place for us. This place, He has told us, will be a place where God himself shall be with us. It will be a place full of joy with no sorrow there.

Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any
more pain: for the former things are
passed away.

John14:1-4
Let not your heart be troubled:
ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many
mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place
for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again, and receive
you unto myself, that where I am,
there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and
the way ye know.

This is real and thank God it is. Without it there would be no hope for anyone to be spared eternity in hell. This would be a terrible terrible thing to be looking for. But praise His dear name, He has paid the price for our sins. It is a done deal. Through the blood of Jesus Christ we all have the ability to be with God one day. He tells us so.

Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that
labour and are heavy laden, and I will
give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and
learn of me; for I am meek and lowly
in heart: and ye shall find rest unto
your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my
burden is light.

Start each day with prayer

The start of a great day is going to the Lord in prayer. He will give you the strength and understanding to be able to make the day before you a great day. Always giving Him thanks and asking for forgiveness of our sins. With each new day we have the ability, with the Lords help, to make a difference in someone's life. Do not stand on your own understanding but look to God for His will to be done. God is good and He wants nothing but the best for us as His children as we do our children. But first we must acknowledge Him in all we do. He will do the rest. There are so many that do not do this yet expect God to take care of them. He is a fair and just God that will supply all our needs if we will only trust in Him. Look towards the heavens and not towards the earthly things.

Matthew 7:7-12
Ask, and it shall be given to you;
seek, and ye shall find; knock, and
it shall be opened unto you.
For every one that asketh receiveth;
and he that seeketh findeth:
and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Or what man is there of you,
whom if his son ask bread, will he
give him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish, will he give
him a serpent?
If ye then, being evil, know
how to give good gifts unto your
children, how much more shall your
Father which is in heaven give good
things to them that ask him?
Therefore all things whatsoever
ye would that men should do to
you, do ye even so to them: for
this is the law and the prophets.

Charity and the gift of giving

One of the most self fulfilling things on this earth is that of giving to others in need. One does not need to be rich monetarilly to do this. It does not even have to be the gift of money itself. It could be a simple prayer to the Lord for others, a kind word about someone to others, a visit with someone who needs to be lifted up. The list could go on and on. Some things that may come from this is that someone that does not know Jesus may come to know Him, it could lead to someone getting a job, receiving a better job, and this list could continue also. But if we give to the ones who have the least God tells us that we also give to Him.

There is enough money in this world today that there should be not ONE person hungry or without a place to live. Everyone deserves this. But that is far from the case. It is nothing less than a sin against God to have the world in the shape it is in now. We all need to do our part in the helping of the least of us. If it is no more than a five dollar bill to someone that is hungry. But it does not need to stop there. Everyone must give continually to those in need. Some are storing up great treasures in there household and others are starving. This needs to change. If God has blessed you in the form of money it was not given to you for your profit alone. We must pass some of it on to others in need. God will bless you for doing so. Everything in the world belongs to God. And one day He will return to collect it. Will you or your family be one of those that has stored up great treasures and not passed any on? The only judge of this is God. He knows all. Take time this week to start a lifetime of giving. You will be blessed and your children will be blessed for it.

Matthew 6:1-4
Take heed that ye do not your
alms before men, to be seen of them:
otherwise ye have no reward of
your Father which is in heaven.

Therefore when thou doest
thine alms, do not sound a trumpet
before thee, as the hypocrites do in
the synagogues and in the streets, that
they may have glory of men. Verily I
say unto you, They have their reward.

But when thou doest alms, let
not thy left hand know what thy right
hand doeth.

That thine alms may be in secret:
and thy Father which seeth in secret
himself shall reward thee openly.

Tribulations in ones life should be praised.

All go through troubles throughout their lives. These times of trouble should be thought of as God working in us to bring us closer to Him. Praise His dear name. God will never put anything on us that He will not give us the strength to go through. Let us rejoice that Jesus loves us.

Romans 5:1-5
Therefore being justified by faith,
we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ:

By whom also we have access
by faith into this grace wherein we
stand, and rejoice in hope of the
glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in
tribulations also: knowing that
tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience;
and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed
abroad in our hearts by the Holy
Ghost which is given unto us.

The Love of Christ was shown

If you have children you know a love for them that is very special. That is the kind of love that God has for us all, even greater. He wants us to live life fully blessed by His love. It is an unconditional love like no other. We need this love to be shared throughout the world.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have
everlasting life.

Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.

Coping with concerns around the world.

There are so many events happening around the world today that we all should be concerned about. But there is one thing that Jesus said that can help us all, no matter what.

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.

Jesus loves us all so much. It is hard for some to comprehend. He has given His word to all of us. That if we will only repent of our sins and accept Him, He will give us everlasting life. Our life here on earth is only a moment in time. With His help we can get through it a lot easier.

Jesus gives His new commandment

Pray unto the Lord faithfully as well as reading His living word. Allow Him to dwell inside you and reveal what He wants to show you through His word. His power is greater than one can imagine.
Love yourself and others, for God does. Be as a light for others.

John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give unto you,
That ye love one another; as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my desciples,
if ye have love one to another.
